How much is International Shipping for this project?
Shipping outside the US varies depending on your country and which book(s) you get a pledge reward.
The exact amount will be displayed when you make your pledge; if shipping costs rise in the US, you will still not pay any additional postage (Kobold Press pays any increase in postage between now and hte ship day.
Generally, postage runs about $23 for both books to Europe, or $15 to Canada. It’s less if you pledge for a single book.

I love it! But when does it ship?
The dates are listed in the rewards descriptions on the right–some rewards take a bit longer than others. But here’s our current schedule; which is subject to change.
Generally, the first PDF extras go out in November and December, the playtest materials around the same time to playtester backers.
The Tome of Beasts print book and the related PDF are expected to ship in April for backers in the US. Outside the US, those rewards will take longer, likely arriving in May.
Special items such as the handbound leather edition and the Gen Con 2016 party won’t happen until later still, in June and August respectively.

I play a fair bit on VTT and want a few details. Are the maps gridless? Are there both DM and player versions?
Yes, there will be both player and DM versions of the maps. The DM version is labelled with area numbers and the like, just as you’d expect. The player version doesn’t include that information.
Yes, the maps will be offered without grids. For the Fantasy Grounds version, the grid is generated by the software and preset. For the regular versions, they’re simply gridless maps for you to use with hexes, squares, etc and your favorite VTT software.

What are the printed pawns that are included with the hardcover Tome? Can I just print the digital tokens and get pawns that way? What's the difference?
The digital tokens are meant to be used for VTT or projectors–they are very useful in any digital play format, and yes, you can print them at home, of course! These are circular tokens. If time permits and we can talk the art director into it, we’ll try some other shapes that might work for home printing, but their main purpose is as digital tokens.
The 300 physical pawns a different beast, professionally printed on thick stock that is heavier than what can be run through a printer at home. The pawns are die-cut, and similar to the Monster Vault or Bestiary Pawns (if you are familiar with those). You’ll need some inexpensive bases for them (about $3.99 from FFG) if you don’t have some already, and they make quite an impression at the table. These usually retail for about $40 for a set of 300–we’re very pleased to include them as part of all printed Tome reward tiers!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
